Is this desire a flash that will burn out fast, or is it always and forever?I thought this was an interesting departure for Kathryn Meyer Griffith as she is usually a romantic horror author. This was a contemporary romance with no horror elements at all. I give this short story an A!

I very much enjoyed this story. The people felt real and I could understand the main character's fears about dating. The best part is how well the author communicates the emotions, good and bad. I don't want to give away too much, so I will simply say I got caught up in the story and I wish this had been a books so I could have read more .
Forever and Always was a cute and loving short story of Emma remembering the time her husband left her and how she picked herself back up.
You can feel the pain and heartache as Emma remembers Johnathan telling her it was over after 10 years of marriage and that he loved someone else. At her friends urging she went out to forget and look forward, towards the future. Meeting Ben they are swept into a fast pace love affair.
This story is easy to read when you want something quick and you can feel the emotions. I can’t wait to read more from Kathryn.

I thought this was an interesting departure for Kathryn Meyer Griffith as she is usually a romantic horror author. This was a contemporary romance with no horror elements at all. I give this short story an A!
